Hello Lovely Hikers!

We are excited to welcome you all to The Happy Gnomads Hiker House.

We are Sunshine and Jumanji, former section and thru hikers, that settled down in Hot Springs, NC. We built this hostel on our land with the goal of hosting and supporting thru hikers on their journeys. We want our place to feel like home to hikers where they can rejuvenate themselves and leave refreshed and ready to tackle the big miles.

We have 6 bunks available to hikers, and 2 private rooms as well. We're located 2 miles from the AT at Garneflo Gap (6.5 miles south of Hot Springs). We offer free pickup and dropoff to the trail at Garenflo Gap or Hot Springs. Give us a call to talk rates and dates!
